"To raise the necessary funds, Wirz is mounting a two-tiered campaign.
"On the first tier, Wirz is looking for one company to sign on as the presenting sponsor of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. The major sponsor has not been announced, but Wirz indicated that a deal is imminent...
"On the second tier will be six sponsors, each of which will sponsor and help develop programs with Little League ranging from nutrition and physical fitness to anti-drug education. 'We really want to match up with the right profile of company,' Wirz said." |
